Event Description: Come out to the Hutchinson Airport this Saturday and be a part of aviation history. Lady Liberty, the A-26 Invader aircraft lost an engine while on her way to Hutchinson for an airshow last spring. The aircraft owners have been raising money to help repair Ms. Liberty and now you can help out! With a small cash donation, you will have the opportunity to help get Ms Liberty cleaned up after her port engine threw oil all over here last spring. You then can say that you helped repair and restore a classic WWII era aircraft to flying condition plus you will have intimate knowledge of how an aircraft from that era is put together. The Commemorative Air Force will also be at the airport selling rides in a variety of period aircraft. Come out and be a part of aviation history.

Hutchinson Municipal Airport. 1100 North Airport Road. Directly outside of the Airport Steakhouse.

Due to the untimley loss of her left engine, Lady Liberty is in Hutchinson, Kansas waiting on her crew to secure a new engine. Lady Liberty is owned by the American Airpower Heritage Museum a part of the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) and solely operated by the Lady Liberty Sponsor Group. The group receives no funding from the CAF and is totally dependent on the volunteer efforts of its members, donations from generous donors and sponsors as well as proceeds from air show appearances.
