As with the need to be prepared for a tornado, all citizens need to be prepared for an active shooter event. Brice Burlie, Patrol Lieutenant with the Hutchinson Police Department and the Emergency Response Team Commander for Reno County, will provide instruction on:
- What an active shooter event exactly is
- What are some possible warning signs
- What type of plans we need as a group and as individuals to give ourselves the best chance of survival
